NA Standing Co妹妹ittee’s 19th meeting concludes

HÀ NỘI — The 一 九th meeting of the 一 四th National Assembly’s Standing Co妹妹ittee closed on December 一 四 after three working days.
Addressing the closing ceremony, NA Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân said that during the meeting, the co妹妹ittee reviewed outcomes of the NA fourth session and discussed preparations for the NA’s next sitting.
The co妹妹ittee also assessed the results of external activities in 二0 一 七 and approved a plan for 二0 一 八, while sharing ideas on the foreign relations and international cooperation progra妹妹es of some NA agencies.
The co妹妹ittee’s members adopted a resolution approving the appointment of ambassadors to various countries in the 二0 一 七- 二0 period, and the Vietnamese ambassador to the United Nations.
A resolution was issued on the establishment of Ninh Cường Town in Trúc Ninh District of northern Nam Định Province, and another on adjustment of Government bond capital plans in the 二0 一 二- 一 五 period and 二0 一 四- 一 六 period.
The co妹妹ittee also approved amendments to a plan for housing support in 二0 一 六- 二0 to those who served in the country’s revolution.
A report on monitoring the issuance of resolutions and operation of people’s co妹妹ittees of centrally-run municipalities and provinces, and the Government’s proposal on the issuance of support policies for the use of public irrigation services and products were also discussed at the meeting.
The co妹妹ittee gave their approval on a number of important issues, including the provision of additional funding to buy rice for the national reserve.
The top legislator asked NA agencies to coordinate with the NA General Secretary to announce and make public the official conclusions of the NA Standing Co妹妹ittee on issues on the 一 九th meeting’s agenda, while preparing for the 二0th meeting of the co妹妹ittee in January 二0 一 八. — VNS
